When I was born my parents were already vegetarian. I grew up with vegetarian and mostly organic food. My parents always had a low salary but nevertheless it was very important to them to give my brother and me organic food only. So, every penny was saved for good quality food and vitamin D in the south of Europe once a year during summer vacation.

When I was around 14 years old my dad became raw vegan. He was a taxi driver, sat all day and ate a lot of cheese and bread. His health deteriorated and he took the time to read books about raw vegan diet. It seemed so obvious and right to him that he changed his habits and started to eat raw vegan food only. Immediately his health improved, his mind became clearer and his mental health changed to the better as well.
A few years later my mum suffered from a tumor-like disease in her shoulder. No doctor could help her without surgery. After 4 weeks of raw vegan diet she was cured for 100% without any medication or surgery. My mother went back to a vegetarian diet. My dad never stopped eating raw vegan.
Today he is nearly 70 years young and looks like a man in his 50’s. He got into tennis lately and manages a huge garden by his own at the Algarve. In the garden he grows all the vegetables and fruits for himself and his partner as well as for many neighbors. An active and healthy man who enjoys and lives life as its best. At that time I was too much into cooked food, cheese and good German bread. I was not at all interested in my dad’s diet. I kept eating vegetarian food and sometimes even meat.
When I graduated from school I traveled Australia for one year and had a lot of food I should not have eaten. Back in Germany I felt horrible and I decided to start another way of eating. I became vegetarian again and made salads and fruits the main ingredient of my diet. I felt the benefits right away. My fitness increased and has been constant since on a higher level than before.

Since a few years spirituality became a very important part in my life. So did vegan food. I red the book „sun diet“ from David Wolfe. This book answered a lot of my questions (e.g. why raw and not cooked, why fruits and not hybrids, why sprouted and not water soaked only, where the primary source of vitamin B12 really is (it is not meet and dairy) etc.) and showed me how perfectly nature is organized and how nature does the best for human beings and the animals by giving us fruits in such a huge variety.

I am not there yet, not 100% raw vegan. But I am experimenting, learning every day and one day I will get there.
To me it is important to share this knowledge with you and to show how the food industry is a system created to make money and you dependent from it. It never was and is about providing good quality natural food to you.
